About the venue
The 6th young water professional BeNeLux conference will take place in Limpertsberg, one of the 24 Quarters of Luxembourg City, the capital city of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The venue is campus Limpertsberg, building "Bat des Sciences" (picture below) of the University of Luxembourg. This University was founded in 2003 and is the only public university of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Luxembourg City, also called the 'Gibraltar from the North', is a multicultural city, and is the seat of many European institutions, including the European Court of Justice. Moreover, it houses numerous museums and squares, and the fortifications of the Old City of Luxembourg and its ancient quarters have been part of the UNESCO Cultural World Heritage since 1994.
How to get to the venue
The conference will take place at Campus Limpertsberg of the University of Luxembourg, building "Bat des Sciences" (162A Avenue de la Faïencerie, L-1511 Luxembourg).
The venue is easily accessible by train. It is located 3.3 km from the train station and you can take a bus every 10 minutes. Detailed information on how to get to the venue can be found on the website of the University.
How to get to the welcome reception
The welcome reception will take place at campus Kirchberg (6, rue Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi, L-1359 Luxembourg). You can reach it from campus Limpertberg by tram (every 5-10 minutes). The nearest tram station (Limpertsberg, Faïencerie/INL, 1431 Luxembourg, Luxemburg) is located 1.2 km from the campus of Limpertsberg and can be reached by bus (bus 30, bus 3 or bus 19) or by foot. You should get off at the stop 'Kirchberg Universiteit'.
